Suspect Wanted for Multiple Armed Robberies

 

(Fayetteville, NC) – Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Robbery Unit have identified and obtained warrants on a suspect responsible for multiple armed business robberies.

 

Nicholas Rizzuto

 

Nicholas J. Rizzuto (W/M, 28 years of age) has been charged and is wanted in connection with robberies of the following five (5) businesses:

 

  • Metro PCS located at 8140 Cliffdale Road on November 27, 2017.
  • Text Book Brokers located at 2904 Fort Bragg Road on December 1, 2017.
  • Boost Mobile located at 5701 Yadkin Road on December 1, 2017.
  • CVS located at 3026 Bragg Blvd on December 2, 2017.
  • Metro PCS located at 2956 Owen Drive on December 3, 2017.

Suspect Connected to Multiple Business Armed Robberies

 

(Fayetteville, NC) – On Sunday, December 3, 2017 at approximately 4:34 pm, officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to a report of a business robbery at Metro PCS located at 2956 Owen Drive. 

 

The investigation revealed that an unknown male walked into the business and approached the employee at the counter. The suspect then displayed a handgun and demanded that the employee relinquish money from the business.  The suspect obtained an undetermined amount of money from the business and fled on foot.

 

The suspect was described as a white, possibly Hispanic, male, 20 to 30 years of age, 5’10”-6’0” in height wearing a dark colored hoodie and blue jeans.   

While detectives with the FPD’s Robbery Unit began investigating the robbery at Metro PCS, they have identified three (3) additional robberies that have been connected to this same suspect.

  • On December 2, 2017 at approximately 9:42 pm, officers responded to an armed robbery that occurred at CVS located at 3026 Bragg Boulevard. 
  • December 1, 2017 at approximately 3:26 pm, officers responded to an armed robbery at the Textbook Brokers Store located at 2904 Fort Bragg Road.
  • November 28, 2017 at approximately 5:15 pm, officers responded to an armed robbery at Metro PCS located at 8140 Cliffdale Road.

Detectives obtained surveillance images from the businesses and are seeking the public’s assistance with identifying the suspect depicted.

Robbery of Metro PCS

 

(Fayetteville, NC) – On Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at approximately 5:15 pm, officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to a report of a business robbery at Metro PCS located at 8140 Cliffdale Road. 

 

The investigation revealed that an unknown white male walked into the business and approached the owner at the counter.  The suspect then displayed a handgun and demanded that the owner relinquish money from the business.  The suspect obtained an undetermined amount of money from the business and fled on foot.

 

The suspect was described as a white male, between 20 to 30 years of age and was wearing dark clothes, sunglasses and a hat.  Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance with identifying the suspect depicted in surveillance images obtained from the business.
