Suspect Arrested for Trafficking Cocaine and Marijuana


(Fayetteville, NC) – Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department, along with Agents from the Fayetteville Field Office of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (BATF), conducted a joint operation which resulted in an arrest and the seizure of multiple stolen firearms, approximately one (1) kilogram of cocaine, and over five-hundred (500) pounds of marijuana.


On Monday, March 12, 2018 at approximately 7:27 pm, as a result of this joint investigation, FPD Detectives and Agents with the BATF executed a search warrant along the 6200 block of Milford Road, in Fayetteville.


Milford Seizure

During the execution of the search warrant numerous stolen firearms, over five-hundred (500) pounds of marijuana, and approximately one (1) kilogram of cocaine were located and seized.


FPD Officers have charged and arrested a suspect in this case.


Bernard Ferguson


Bernard H. Ferguson III (B/M, 32 years of age), of the 6200 block of Milford Road, has been arrested and charged with Trafficking Cocaine by Possession and Manufacture, Trafficking Marijuana by Possession and Manufacture, and Maintaining a Dwelling for the Purpose of Keeping and Selling Controlled Substances. Ferguson is currently being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center on a $500,000 secured bond.
