National Night Out Registration Open


(Fayetteville, NC) – On Tuesday, August 7, 2018, the Fayetteville Police Department will join several Community Watch groups throughout the City of Fayetteville for National Night Out (NNO). National Night Out is an effort to build safer and better neighborhoods through community involvement. It’s a great night to get to know your neighbors, build camaraderie, and send a message to criminals that YOUR neighborhood is no place for them.


Citizens and Community Watch groups can register their NNO event with the Fayetteville Police Department by visiting or using the ‘FayPD’ app, clicking on the NNO logo, and filling out the simple electronic form. Additionally, an interactive map has been placed on the department’s website in order to assist citizens locate a NNO event near them. The map will be updated as NNO events are registered with the Police Department.


While the one night is certainly not a single answer to crime, drugs, and violence, National Night Out represents the spirit, energy, and determination to help make neighborhoods a safer place year round.
