Robbery Investigation

 

(Fayetteville, NC) – On Monday, July 1, 2019, at approximately 6:39 pm, officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to Short Stop Food Mart, located along the 100 block of N. Olive Road, reference a reported robbery.

 

The preliminary investigation revealed the suspect entered the business, implied he had a firearm, and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect then fled the business with an undisclosed amount of money.

 

Detectives have obtained still images from the surveillance system and are requesting the public’s assistance identifying the suspect.

Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Robbery Unit are actively investigating the robbery and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
