Update to Endangered Missing Child

 

(Fayetteville, NC) – Aubriana Recinos, who was reported to be an endangered missing child, has been located safe in Lewisville, Texas.

 

With the assistance of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Lewisville, Texas Police Department, Aubriana Recinos was located safe at a home in Lewisville.

 

The Fayetteville Police Department thanks the FBI and the Lewisville, Texas Police Department for their assistance with this investigation. The Fayetteville Police Department also extends thanks to everyone who shared the endangered missing child information and media outlets.

 

This remains an ongoing criminal investigation and as such, additional investigative details cannot be released at this time.

 

There is no additional information to release.

 

Endangered Missing Child

 

(Fayetteville, NC) – Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department obtained a warrant for the arrest of Carmen A. Lowe (B/F, 23 years of age) for a Felony Custody Order Violation and with the assistance of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Lowe was taken into custody in New Orleans, Louisiana on August 1, 2019. Lowe’s daughter, Aubriana Recinos (4 years of age), is believed to be endangered and her whereabouts are currently unknown. Lowe and her daughter, Aubriana Recinos, were originally reported missing Monday, July 8, 2019.

As the missing person investigation has continued to progress, detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department obtained information indicating Lowe took Aubriana Recinos out of North Carolina, in direct violation of a custody order issued by a judge in Cumberland County, North Carolina. Lowe is believed to have traveled to New Jersey and Louisiana after leaving North Carolina with Aubriana Recinos.

An Amber Alert has not been issued due to Amber Alert criteria and given the current facts, this case does not meet that criteria. Despite being unable to have an Amber Alert issued, Aubriana Recinos is believed to be endangered and it is imperative she is located without delay.

 

Lowe’s daughter, four (4) year old Aubriana Recinos, is believed to be endangered and anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is encouraged to immediately contact law enforcement.
