Detectives Request Public’s Assistance Identifying/Locating Suspicious Vehicle
(Fayetteville, NC) – Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Youth Services Unit are requesting the public’s assistance identifying and/or locating a suspicious vehicle that was observed near a school bus stop in the Drexel neighborhood on the morning of January 16th, 2020.
At approximately 7:45 am it was reported to the Fayetteville Police Department that a white Dodge Ram Pickup Truck with dark-tinted windows, was seen operating on Dowfield Drive in a suspicious manner near one of the school bus stops. Although no crime was committed it is out of an abundance of caution and concern for the safety of the public to identify and speak with the owner of the vehicle. Detectives have obtained a still image from surveillance footage of the truck and are requesting anyone with information to contact them.

Riggott with the Fayetteville Police Department at (910) 723-2878, or contact Fayetteville / Cumberland County Crimestoppers at (910) 483-TIPS (8477).
