(Fayetteville, NC) – Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Robbery Unit are requesting the public’s assistance identifying suspects involved in a personal robbery.
On November 10, 2019, at approximately 1:59 am officers responded the Quality Inn along the 2900 block of Sigman Street in reference a reported personal robbery. The preliminary investigation reveals the suspect knocked on the victim’s hotel room door and said a family member of the victim asked him to go bye and check on the victim. The suspect left only to return several minutes later to knock on the victim’s door again. The victim opened the door where two suspects pointed handguns at the victim and forced him back into the hotel room where they were able to take an undisclosed amount of cash and personal property of the victim.
Detectives have obtained still images from the surveillance systems and are requesting the public’s assistance identifying the suspects.
Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Robbery Unit are actively investigating the robberies and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
