Detectives Seek Assistance Identifying Suspects in Armed Robbery


(Fayetteville, NC) – Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Robbery Unit are seeking assistance from the public with the identification of two suspects in an armed robbery that occurred in the parking lot of the Walmart located at 2820 Gillespie St on March 6th, 2020.


The preliminary investigation revealed two black male suspects forced the victim into their White Honda Odyssey Van and robbed the victim of his belongings before dropping him off at a different location. Images have been obtained from the store surveillance system, and the public is asked to contact detectives or Crimestoppers with information.

  • The suspect to the left is described as a black male, dark complexion, approximately 5’7”-5’11” weighing approximately 140 lbs. He is wearing a black hoodie with reflective stripes on the sleeves, black pants, and black gloves, and armed with a black handgun.

  • The 2nd suspect standing in the left of this photo is described as a black male with medium complexion. Approximately 5’7-5’11 weighing approximately 140 lbs. He is wearing a gray jacket, red pants and black gloves. This suspect was said to be in his early 30’s.









  • The vehicle shown below is the suspects White Honda Odyssey Van used in the robbery. The vehicle does have a sunroof and is bearing a NC Temporary license plate NC-25162176.
