Update to Parental Child Abduction

(Fayetteville, NC) -  Both children have been located by law enforcement in South Carolina. They are safe, and are in the process of being reunited with their grandmother. They are no longer considered missing.

 

There is nothing further to release.

 

Parental Child Abduction

           

(Fayetteville, NC) – On March 19, 2020, at 09:34 pm, officers with the Fayetteville Police Department were dispatched to the 1100 block of Sleepy Hollow Drive in reference to a parental child abduction.

 

Hezekiah/Jaaliya Taylor

 

The preliminary investigation has revealed the mother of Hezekiah Taylor (B/M, 8 years of age. last seen wearing red pants and a white shirt) and Jaaliya Taylor (B/F, 4 years of age, last seen wearing pink pants and pink shirt) abducted the children after losing custody of them in the State of Florida.

 

The mother, Deanne Brooks (B/F, 33 years of age) was last seen driving an older, burgundy sport utility vehicle, and is believed to be headed back to Palm Bay, Florida.
