Detectives Seek Victims of Credit Card Fraud

        

(Fayetteville, NC) – In late February, the Central District Property and Fraud Unit received a Crimestoppers tip alleging that an employee of the Taco Bell at 1925 Skibo Road, was taking photographs of customer credit cards at the drive-thru window.  An investigation was initiated with the full cooperation from the Taco Bell management.

After the application and execution of multiple search warrants, DeMarcus Antwoan Williams has been charged with 54 counts of Financial Card Theft.  Additional charges, including Identity Theft, Financial Card Theft, and Financial Card Fraud, are expected as detectives continue to make contact with victims and receive results of other search warrants from financial institutions.
