(Fayetteville, NC) – On Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at approximately 7:42 pm, officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian located at Fayetteville Area System of Transit along the 400 block of Grove Street.
The preliminary investigation revealed the victim was in a service bay of the building when a FAST bus entering the bay struck the victim. The victim is being transported to UNC Chapel Hill with life threatening injuries.
The identities of those involved are currently being withheld until immediate family members can be notified.
