On Tuesday, May 18, 2021, the Fayetteville Police Department will be running the torch through downtown Fayetteville, in a 5k run, to support the Special Olympics of North Carolina. The 5k is open to any and all runners and walkers who wish to participate.

The Fayetteville Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance locating Alberta Figeroa who was reported as being missing on May 14, 2021. Figeroa suffers from a cognitive impairment that requires medication.
